Isaiah D. Banks is a fully licensed mental health therapist, mentor, author, and nationally certified fitness trainer. He is dedicated to serving his community and passionate about helping others grow into their most confident, capable selves. Isaiah earned his bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Psychology with a minor in Disability Studies from Shippensburg University and his master’s degree (M.S.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University.
Isaiah has extensive clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment-related challenges. Isaiah also has a strong background in mentorship, supporting high school, undergraduate, and graduate-level students in their academic, professional, and personal development. In addition, he has been invited to speak across various platforms on topics related to mental health, manhood, and personal growth, and has presented his research at multiple academic conferences. Isaiah is also the author of two coloring books available on Amazon and has been featured on various podcasts discussing mental health, healing, and empowerment. His work is grounded in a deep commitment to breaking cycles of trauma and being a source of support and guidance for the next generation.​
Growing up in North Philadelphia, Isaiah witnessed the impact of generational trauma within his community, which shaped his mission to become a catalyst for change. He is committed to “being the person he needed when he was younger” and continues to invest in youth and emerging adults through therapy, mentorship, and education. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, hiking, researching, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
