I am Isaiah &
I am living dedicated.
Isaiah D. Banks is a mental health therapist, mentor, author, and nationally certified fitness trainer. He is dedicated to his community and passionate about helping others. He obtained his bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in psychology with a minor in disability studies from Shippensburg University and his master’s degree (M.S.)in clinical mental health counseling from Lock Haven University. Isaiah has clinical experience working withchildren and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or adjustment disorder.
Isaiah also has experience speaking across the city on topics around mental health and manhood. Isaiah has presented his research at Shippensburg University’s Minds @ Work conference, CMHC Chicago School Conference, and the Lock Haven University Annual Clinical Mental Health Counseling Conference. ​

​Growing up in North Philadelphia, Isaiah noticed the perpetual cycle of broken families in the black community. He realized the pain and trauma that resulted. He wanted to make a difference, by being the difference maker. He made it his mission to “be the person he needed when he was younger”. Isaiah enjoys helping the youth. He understands the importance of mentorship and building up the next generation. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, hiking, conducting research, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
