I am Paulette &
I am living passionately.
Paulette D. Lee-Solomon is a certified Pharmacy Technician; however, her current professional career is as a licensed cosmetologist, which she has been doing for 25 years. Paulette says that being a pharmacy technician allowed her to hand out medications that would help people, where being a hair technician affords her the privilege of changing lives using a comb and scissors. Being a hair technician put Paulette directly in the path of young ladies and women who don’t just want to look pretty but want to feel it from the inside out. Paulette recognizes that what she does every day is a part of the ministry that was assigned to her life, and that led her to partner with Kyla Neil to start a mentoring group for high school girls called Kreating Possibilities.
Paulette currently serves as president of Preacher’s Kids Talk Back (PKTB), an organization that helps give a voice to those who have struggled growing up in the spotlight of parents who are pastors and preachers. Paulette is also the leader of The Discipleship Core Team (DCT) at her church, Jones Memorial Baptist Church. Paulette loves the Lord, Eagles football, and a good book.
During the pandemic of 2020, Paulette was inspired to add another notch to her belt. One of her nieces was struggling with hair loss and had to do the big chop. Her hair issues were complex. So, the average hair oil just wasn’t getting the job done. True to her passion for hair care, and her overall desire to meet people right where they are, she birthed BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE, which is a client-specific line of hair care oils. Paulette recognizes that people are unique and so are their needs, and this is the same attitude she brings to the Kalm Konfidence Team.
Paulette is married to Kenneth Solomon Jr., and between the two, they have four children, Paul II, Nashay, Kayla, and Kahlil. Paulette also has four dogs whom she absolutely adores.
